Terms of Service

1. Who these terms cover
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Paylora Business Solutions website and any software product listed on it, including Paylora POS, Paylora Invoicing, Paylora Pest Control, and any product added in the future. All products are owned and operated by Paylora, LLC ("Paylora," "we," "us"). By using this website, subscribing to a product, or purchasing a product from us, you agree to these terms.
2. Two ways we offer software
Paylora offers software in two ways, and different terms apply depending on which applies to the product you're using:
- Subscription products (such as Paylora POS, Paylora Invoicing, and Paylora Pest Control) are hosted by us and billed on a recurring basis. Section 3 applies to these.
- Purchased products are systems we sell for a one-time fee and hand off to you. Section 4 applies to these.
The product page for each item on our site tells you which category it falls into.
3. Subscription products
Subscription products are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected at signup) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your account; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period unless required by law. We may change subscription pricing with advance notice. Continued use after a price change takes effect means you accept the new price.
4. Purchased products
Purchased products are sold for a one-time fee agreed upon directly with us. Once delivered, you are responsible for hosting, operating, and maintaining the software unless you've separately purchased ongoing maintenance from us. Maintenance terms, if purchased, will be set out in a separate written agreement or invoice.
5. Payments
All payments for products listed on this site are processed by Paylora, LLC, regardless of which product you're paying for. Payment processing is handled through our payment providers; we do not store your full payment card details.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse any Paylora product — including attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer for resale, or use the software to violate any law.
7. Ownership
Paylora retains ownership of the software itself. A subscription or purchase gives you a license to use the product; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying code, design, or intellectual property unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Our products are provided "as is." We work to keep them reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, Paylora's liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as we add products or change how we operate. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
